The Leake Academy Rebels won the Central Division MAIS 5A District 2 title tonight defeating the Cougars of Simpson Academy from Mendenhall 27-0. The Rebels complete the regular season 7-3 overall and 3-1 in the division. After a scoreless opening quarter the Rebels were leading 14-0 at halftime and scored a touchdown in both the third and fourth quarter the win the game 27-0. The Rebels will enter the MAIS 5A playoffs two weeks from tonight in Madden with their opponent to be determined later. Boswell Media Sports will bring you the game on Cruisin 98 starting with the coaches show and pregame at 6:10pm with kickoff at 7:00pm.
