The Leake Academy varsity basketball teams returned to Pelahatchie this afternoon to play Copiah Academy from Gallman in the Thanksgiving Tournament being held at East Rankin Academy. The Leake Academy Lady Rebels defeated the Lady Colonels by 38 points, 68-30 to improve their season record to 13-0. The Rebels defeated the Colonels by 32 points, 70-38 to improve to 8-1 on the season. Our next broadcast of Leake Academy Basketball will be Saturday December 7th when the teams travel to Philadelphia to play Philadelphia High School. Tipoff for the Lady Rebels is set for 5:00pm. Games will be broadcast live on Cruisin 98 and video streamed on kicks98news.com and on the Boswell Media Sports YouTube channel.
