CARTHAGE, Miss.–A woman reported losing her brakes and headlights shortly after 8 p.m. Friday, on Hwy. 35 in Lake County.
It happened when the woman, who was driving a Ford F150, was near Estes Mill Rd.
Deputies and the Highway Patrol both advised the woman to pull her emergency brake and turn the truck off.
She was able to get the truck stopped and to the side of the road. When deputies got there they made sure the truck was in a safe spot. The woman was able to arrange for the truck to be picked up the next day.
