CARTHAGE, Miss.–A light polce was reported to have fallen shortly after noon Saturday.
That was reported on O. B. Wilder Ln.
When the pole fell, the transformer caught fire and the whole thing was blocking the road, according to dispatchers.
The fire department was dispatched to put out the fire.
It was unclear what caused the pole to fall.
