CARTHAGE, Miss.–A possible mail thief was spotted in Carthage, Saturday evening.
The man who called police said someone in a gray four-door car drove up, took mail from his mailbox, then drove to mailboxes at his neighbor’s houses and took their mail. He also said he had been noticing that his mail had been missing before.
That was on North Jordan St., in the north part of Carthage, just before 7 p.m.
Carthage Police drove around looking for the vehicle. It was unclear from police radio traffic whether they caught up with the suspected mail thief.
