CARTHAGE, Miss.–Leake County deputies were called to a house on Mill Rd. in Leake County Saturday night to check on a woman who had reported her boyfriend had beaten her and wouldn’t give her her keys so she could leave.
That was just after 9 p.m.
While deputies were on the way dispatch ran a check for warrants for the man.
It was determined he was wanted on several charges.
The man was taken into custody.
