CARTHAGE, Miss.–A motorcycle without a tag was involved in a chase with a Carthage police officer Saturday night.
The officer called the chase in at 10:41. It began on Hwy. 16 and the bike turned onto Hwy. 25 south.
The officer lost visual contact near the Scott County line.
The rider was able to get away, with dispatchers notifying the authorities in Scott and Rankin counties.
