CARTHAGE, Miss.–A person was hurt in a one-car wreck Christmas Eve in Leake County.
The wreck was just after 9 p.m. on Hwy. 25 south near the Scott-Leake County line. When the wreck was called in, it was reported that the car hit a deer and the air bag deployed.
The car was blocking both lanes of traffic.
An ambulance was sent out, along with the Mississippi Highway Patrol and the Leake County Sheriff’s Dept.
It was unclear how bad the person was hurt.
