WALNUT GROVE, Miss.–A Walnut Grove police officer chased a white GMC on Hwy. 35 Saturday night shortly after 9 p.m.
The officer reported that the truck would not stop and was a”all over the road”, reporting that the truck nearly hit every every vehicle it passed.
Leake County deputies joined the chase.
“I’m trying to keep him off of traffic,” reported the Walnut Grove officer, before getting in front of the truck and slowing down.
The chase was finally put to an end at 9:06.
It was unclear what charges the driver may now face. The truck was towed.
