CARTHAGE, Miss.–A person was shot Saturday night on Langdon Train, after deputies got several reports about shots being fired.
The call came in shortly before 7:30 p.m. When a deputy arrived on scene he reported that shots had been fired, that someone was yelling they had been shot, and shortly after that reported that a Black male had been shot in the upper leg.
An ambulance was requested.
Once the ambulance arrived they took the man directly to University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson.
It was unclear whether an arrest was made.
Langdon Trail is south of Hwy. 16, between Carthage and Edinburg.
