WALNUT GROVE, Miss.–A shooting was reported Saturday night night in Walnut Grove.
The person who called 911 said it happened on Starling Center Rd., which is just east of Hwy. 35, just before 8 p.m.
The person who called also told dispatchers that the victim was a woman who had been shot by a man.
While deputies were en route they were informed that the victim was being taken to the hospital in Carthage by her husband in a private vehicle.
The nature of her injuries was unclear.
