CARTHAGE, Miss.–Carthage Police and Leake County deputies were investigating who may have fired shots at a trailer park early Saturday morning.
Several people called about 12:20 a.m., and reported gynshots being fired on North Jordan St.
A deputy ended up talijng to a teenager who said he saw someone shooting from a Nissan sedan.
Police officers and deputies looked around to see if anyone or anything was shot. They also patrolled looking for the suspect vehicle. An officer pulled over a Nissan on Martin Luther King.
It was unclear if an arrest was made.
Later someone reported windows busted out of a car on Pearl St.
About 4:40 a.m. at the trailer park on Dickens St., someone reported a trailer having been shot up. It was not confirmed exactly what happened. But, one of the residents asked police to stay there while she went to her car to go to work.
