THOMASTOWN, Miss.–A tree was reported on fire just before 3:30 Saturday afternoon. Thomastown volunteer firefighters responded and put the fire out.
About 5:30 p.m. Saturday a tree was reported blocking the entire road on Scarborough Rd. at Roberts Rd. Thomastown volunteers responded to clear that out of the way.
About ten minutes later another tree was reported down by a caller on Lindsey Rd. on the Leake County side near the Leake and Scott county line. Firefighters were unable to find that tree, though.
