CARTHAGE, Miss.–Leake County deputies were busy with two domestic situations happening simultaneously Saturday morning.
Both calls were just before 2 a.m.
One was on Hwy. 25 when a grandson called 911 and said his grandfather was beating his grandmother. A deputy arrived and shortly after reported arresting a man.
Another was on True Light Rd. in Walnut Grove. A girlfriend called and said her boyfriend was drunk and she wanted him to leave. The boyfriend called dispatchers and said he was drunk so he couldn’t drive.
There was no violence in that incident.
The man agreed to sleep in his truck and leave in the morning.
