CARTHAGE, Miss.–Several volunteer fire agencies reponded to a woods fire Wednesday evening on Mars Hill Rd.
The call came in about 7 p.m.
Once firefighters arrived on the scene, they said Mississippi Forestry Commission units were needed to help knock down the fire.
The fire was near a camper where some people were staying and they were advised to keep a watch on the fire.
