Down it came. Directly after the Leake County Board of Supervisors meeting yesterday, the former Mississippi State flag was lowered and removed from steps of the courthouse. Corey Wooten, County Administrator, lowered the flag and Board of Supervisor members folded it. It’s final destination has yet to be determined.
