Philadelphia Police responded to a break-in at a home on Adams St. at around 3 a.m. Monday, August 10.
Two people at the residence reported that two assailants broke into the home through the front door. One of the individuals was said to have been wearing a mask, and the other reportedly had eye black on their face.
The assailants were armed, and a weapon was fired during the incident. Both individuals fled the residence on foot. No injuries were reported.
Philadelphia Police Chief Eric Lyons says the department is actively investigating the incident.
