Authorities in Madison County have asked neighboring Leake County to be on the lookout for a kidnapping suspect believed to be armed and dangerous.
According to the Madison County Sheriff’s Office, a white male driving a red and white antique Chevrolet C-10 pickup truck is believed to have kidnapped a female victim. The suspect is reportedly armed with a rifle and has threatened to use it.
When Leake County authorities were notified, the vehicle was last seen on Virgin Mary Rd., possibly headed toward Highway 16. The latest update received by Kicks96News.com indicates the truck may have more recently been spotted on Permenter Rd.
Law enforcement agencies are actively searching for the suspect, vehicle, and kidnapping victim. Updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
