We can confirm that a tornado did pass through Walnut Grove area during the storm on Tuesday. We spoke with Emergency Management Director Tommy Malone who said” that following the National Weather Service Assessment has verified the storm that did come through the area was an EF1 tornado.” As previously reported over 25 buildings experienced structural damage with over 100 downed trees in the area. Restoration of power and debris removal continue.
