Carthage Police are investigating a burglary at Smoke Shop Scene 1, located on Highway 16 near Walmart. According to Police Chief Billy McMillan, the suspect(s) broke a front window to enter the building, stole merchandise, and fled the scene. Authorities responded to the incident after the store’s burglary alarm was triggered. The investigation is ongoing.
