A school bus struck a tree when it fell in the roadway on Hwy 35 N in the Singleton area at 1:20 p.m. on Wednesday, April 2. The entire roadway was blocked by the tree.
EMS, Leake Deputies, MHP, and Barnes Volunteer Fire Department responded to the scene.
While it’s unclear if any children were on board, the bus driver was the only person injured, though the injury was not serious.
