Carthage: City Budget Adopted After Tie Breaking Decision

The Carthage City 2020-2021 budget has been adopted. Following a 2-2 split decision by the Board of Aldermen, Mayor Vivians cast the tie breaking vote. The budget is potentially still at a deficit depending on whether cash reserves will be factored in. The budget will be made public later in the month.
