The FBI in Jackson says a Carthage man was arrested as a result of a child predator investigation. The unidentified suspect is accused of communicating with what he thought was a 15-year-old female from the Abilene, Texas area. The arrest was announced Dec. 24, two days after the FBI concluded Operation Relentless Justice, a nationwide coordinated enforcement effort to identify, track and arrest child sex predators. The Bureau’s Jackson office says it arrested a total of three suspected child sex abuse offenders during the two-week crackdown.
