Cattle and Traffic Incidents Keep Neshoba and Philadelphia Law Enforcement Busy

On County Road 147 just before 1 a.m., Neshoba County Deputies responded to reports of over 20 cows loose near County Road 145. Philadelphia Police managed a smaller cattle incident around 5:30 a.m. on Pecan Avenue near Northside Shortstop. Law Enforcement in both areas worked to locate the cattle owners.

In other incidents, Philadelphia Police attended multiple minor traffic accidents, all without injuries. These included a wreck near Sonic just after 11 a.m., a parking lot accident at Chevron, and a collision on W. Beacon Street near Lewis Avenue. At around 6:30 p.m., Neshoba County Deputies responded to a two-vehicle crash near County Road 212 and County Road 123, where one vehicle reportedly left the scene. No injuries were reported.
