Central Electric Continues Restoration Efforts

**Update as of April 11, 2024, 10:45 a.m.**

Central Electric continues restoration efforts following the severe weather event that affected
our service area. Significant progress was made yesterday.

Crews continue to work in each district to restore power as quickly and safely as possible.
Additional outside assistance is arriving today from Alcorn County Electric Power Association,
East Mississippi Electric Power Association, and Southern Pine Electric.

As of 9:30 a.m., Central Electric Power Association has 1,967 members without electric
service as crews continue to work to restore power to our members.

The following is a breakdown of the outages by county:

Leake County – 365
Attala County – 5
Neshoba County – 360
Newton County – 185
Rankin County – 90
Scott County – 962
