As Hurricane Francine passed through our service area early this morning, Central Electric
Power Association (CEPA) had over 5,300 members without power due to strong winds and
heavy rain. Restoration efforts began as CEPA promptly mobilized their field operations staff.
As of 5:00 p.m., Central Electric has 320 members without electric service as crews continue
to work to restore power.
