Central Electric Restoration Efforts Continue

Linemen from three electric cooperatives in Mississippi continue to work alongside CEPA
personnel. The outside assistance arrived yesterday and began making great progress in
restoring power to our members. Crews continue to work in each district today to restore
power as quickly and safely as possible.

As of 9:45 a.m., Central Electric Power Association has 659 members without electric service
as crews continue to work to restore power to our members.

The following is a breakdown of the outages by county:

Leake County – 60
Attala County – 3
Neshoba County – 222
Newton County – 72
Rankin County – 7
Scott County – 295
