As Hurricane Francine passed through our service area, Central Electric Power Association
(CEPA) had over 5,300 members without power due to strong winds and heavy rain.
Restoration efforts began as CEPA promptly mobilized their field operations staff.
As of 8:00 p.m. on September 12th, all members that could receive power were restored.
Central Electric Power Association wants to thank the membership for their patience and
support during this time. Manager Long thanks each team member who played a role in the
storm restoration.
If you are still without power or are ready to have your service connected, please contact your
local Central Electric Power Association office.
