Country music fans have a big night to look forward to at the Ellis Theater this spring. Charlie Worsham, along with The Parchman Band, will take the stage Thursday, May 28, 2026, at 7:30 PM.

Worsham, a Mississippi native, has built a career celebrated for both his songwriting and his musicianship. Over the past decade, he’s earned praise from NPR, The Wall Street Journal, Billboard, Rolling Stone, and more.

Known for his versatility, Worsham has collaborated with some of country music’s biggest names, including Dierks Bentley, Luke Combs, Elle King, Kip Moore, and Lainey Wilson. He’s also contributed as a musician and vocalist to projects by Eric Church, Kacey Musgraves, Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban, and others.

Fans can also catch Worsham hosting Pickers Radio on Apple Music Country, a show celebrating the talented artists behind the scenes who shape the music we love.

His latest project, a five-song album titled Compadres, is set for release this October and features a lineup of Worsham’s friends and fellow musicians.

Sharing the stage with Worsham is The Parchman Band, a group rooted in the musical legacy of the Mississippi State Penitentiary at Parchman Farm. Members of the band are incarcerated musicians whose performances reflect a historic tradition of prisoners using music as a source of expression and connection — a story that speaks to resilience and the transforming power of music.
