A member of the Choctaw Fire Department has wrapped up advanced training at the State Fire Academy. Liaison Officer Marco Patrick is one of ten fire department leaders from across the state who’ll be graduating Thursday morning from the Mississippi Executive Fire Officer Program. Throughout the year, Patrick has undergone the training, which, according to the Academy, is aimed at “identifying issues the fire service and the communities face and how to improve them” while preparing for the next step in those officers’ careers.
