The City of Carthage will celebrate America’s 250th anniversary on Thursday, July 2, at Trustmark Park.
The celebration will be held from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and will feature a fun zone, kid’s corner, food vendors, live music, a sports zone, and special guest speakers.
Festivities will continue with a block party on the Carthage Square beginning at 9 p.m. featuring a live DJ.
The event is part of the nationwide America 250 celebration and is supported by Mississippi Humanities and America 250 Mississippi. Community members of all ages are encouraged to attend.
