(B-MO) A Carthage craftsman, husband, and friend to many is turning his talent into something deeply personal.

Mark Perrott, owner of Mississippi Farm Tables, has launched Coffee Tables for Cancer as his wife, Helen, begins chemotherapy. Mark is known for building handmade hardwood furniture with a focus on family, faith, and bringing people back to the table. Now, as his own family faces a difficult season, he is using that same craftsmanship to help meet the cost of cancer treatment.

Through the effort, Mississippi Farm Tables is offering coffee tables, sofa tables, console tables, end tables, and benches. A portion of proceeds will also go toward cancer research.

Mark and Helen’s story is one that will hit close to home for a lot of people in Central Mississippi. They have built their business around the idea that a table is more than furniture. It is where families gather, talk, laugh, pray, and make memories. Now, the community has a chance to gather around them.

Anyone who would like to support Coffee Tables for Cancer can call or text 662-681-6846. Mississippi Farm Tables is located at 1976 East Franklin Street in Carthage. A GoFundMe link is also available here for those who would like to help without purchasing furniture.
