Dozens of new COVID 19 cases have been reported locally in the past week. The State Health Department reported Monday that Leake County has seen 53 additional cases, Attala County 50 and Neshoba County 43. Fortunately, there haven’t been any more deaths blamed on the virus in the three counties. Statewide, the Health Department reported 7,058 new cases and five more deaths since last Wednesday.
