First responders rushed to a crash on Highway 487 near Scott Lake Road just after 6 p.m. on Thursday, March 13.
Deputies, Mississippi Highway Patrol, Madden Volunteers, EMS, and Carthage Fire Department were called to the scene.
While initial reports indicated someone was trapped, the individual had exited the vehicle by the time crews arrived.
The vehicle was reported to be smoking. Crews worked the crash, and no serious injuries were reported.
