Today is decision day for the possible new Mississippi state flag. Flag Commissioners will make the choice today. One of the flags includes the magnolia blossom, the other bears a shield.
The final pick will be on the November 3rd general election ballot. If voters approve the flag, it will become the state flag. Otherwise, the process will start over
