Multiple people reported a disturbance near the intersection of the Natchez Trace Parkway and Old Robinson Rd. on Wednesday, May 28, just after 3 p.m.
Callers informed authorities that a male subject was seen physically assaulting a female. One witness reported that the man became aggressive toward her and even followed her for a short distance after she left the scene.
The male suspect returned to the area and was taken into custody by Leake County Sheriff’s Deputies. His identity is currently unknown.
