Around 12:00 AM on Thursday morning, Carthage Police were notified of a disturbance on Valley St. and Terry Lane Dr. A man was taken into custody.
Later, around 7:00, CPD received a call that there had been a break-in during the night on Hillside Dr. Officers made contact with the homeowner. On the same road officers saw a house with Amazon boxes on the porch, one of which was opened, as well as a truck at another residence that looked as if it had been rummaged through. There are currently no known suspects.
