It’s January 26th and on this date back in 1979 that the American television series The Dukes Of Hazzard aired on CBS, starring John Schneider, as Bo Duke; Tom Wopat, as Luke Duke; and Waylon Jennings, as The Balladeer, the show was set in fictional Hazzard County, Georgia with their attractive cousin Daisy. The series which was inspired by the 1975 film Moonrunners, featured Jennings singing the theme song.

Keith Urban is adding more Vegas shows to his spring 2022 performance calendar now that Adele has cleared the way.

Urban has added five shows to his slate of concerts for his Keith Urban Live—Las Vegas residency at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace. He is picking up shows in March and April, filling slots that opened up following Adele’s announcement that she is postponing her own “Weekends With Adele” residency.

Urban’s newly added show dates are set for March 25-26 and 30, as well as April 1-2. The March 25-26 and April 1-2 dates were originally slotted for the “Easy on Me” singer’s residency.

Tickets for Urban’s newly added dates will go on sale Monday at 10 a.m. PT.

 

Jason Aldean has been named the 2022 recipient of the Country Radio Broadcasters’ Artist Humanitarian Award.

Aldean will accept the honor during the annual Country Radio Seminar, which will be held Feb. 23-25 in Nashville and virtually.

The country star has supported numerous charitable organizations over the course of his career by raising millions of dollars to further their work.

Additionally, Aldean is an advocate for veterans, first responders, children and working class families. After the horrific 2017 shooting at Route 91 Festival in Las Vegas, the superstar funded a six-day triumph-over-tragedy workshop for those who were in attendance and witnessed the shooting massacre, in which 60 people were killed. Aldean was performing onstage when the shooting occurred.

Aldean will be presented the award during CRS Honors on Wednesday, Feb. 23. He will also have the honor of introducing the Country Radio Hall of Fame Class of 2022 inductees.
