Chief Eric Lyons says the Philadelphia Police Department will participate in “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over”.

The nationwide campaign is aimed at minimizing the potential for fatal or serious crashes caused by those driving under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol.

The public will see an increase in patrol, traffic stops and safety check points especially from August 16 – September 2.
