Carthage Police arrested a driver following a hit-and-run crash in the Dollar General parking lot just before 5 p.m. on Tuesday.
The driver of the struck vehicle managed to get the license plate of the vehicle that left the scene. Using that information, officers were able to track down the vehicle and its driver who has been identified as 38-year-old Travis Wilson of Redwater.
That driver was arrested and faces multiple charges, including DUI – 2nd offense, open container, careless driving, failure to yield to blue lights, driving with a suspended license, no insurance, improper equipment, leaving the scene of an accident, disorderly conduct, and resisting arrest.
