Due to the enhanced threat of severe weather from Hurricane Francine, including the possibility of damaging winds, tornadoes, and flash flooding, all East Central Community College classes will switch to virtual learning and all offices will close on Thursday, September 12, 2024. Campus will resume normal operating hours on Friday, September 13, 2024, at 8 a.m.
Tonight’s (Wednesday, September 11) Suicide Awareness Event in Brackeen-Wood Gymnasium is also canceled.
ECCC’s Mabry Cafeteria will open from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. for lunch and 4 – 6 p.m. For dinner on Thursday, September 12. Residence Hall students who remain on campus are urged to monitor the weather and use caution when traveling to and from the cafeteria for lunch and dinner. The Grille in the Student Union Building will be closed on Thursday, September 12.
