Philadelphia High School has named Dicenzo Miller as its new head baseball coach and football offensive coordinator.
A former standout at Weir High School, Miller went on to play running back at Mississippi State, where he rushed for more than 2,200 career yards and 17 touchdowns from 1998-2001.
He topped the 1,000-yard mark during the 2000 season, rushing for 1,005 yards and 10 touchdowns while helping lead the Bulldogs’ SEC-leading rushing attack. He remains among Mississippi State’s all-time leading rushers.
Miller announced the move on his social media accounts, sharing Philadelphia High School’s hiring graphic and expressing excitement about joining the Tornado program.
The Tornadoes will open the 2026 football season Friday, Aug. 28.
