EnTouch Wireless is hosting an event giving away free cell phones. EnTouch Wireless is a service of Lifeline, a government benefit providing free cell phone service for eligible customers.
The City of Carthage has contacted a representative to set up in Carthage to help ensure that residents in Carthage and Leake county who need these services are able to get them.
EnTouch Wireless will be at Matlock Park (formerly Lincoln Park) Community Center located on Hayes Street on Thursday January 27th from 11 am – 5 pm.
Smart phones as well as Lifeline services with unlimited talk and text and/or unlimited data will be given to eligible individuals for free.
To qualify you must receive some type of government assistance such as:
- Food Stamps
- Medicaid
- Supplemental Security Income (SSI)
- Disability
