4:37 a.m. – Leake County Deputies responded to a call from a resident of Boyd Lane off Robinson Road regarding a stolen vehicle.
7:07 a.m. – Leake County Deputies and Emergency Medical Services were dispatched to a residence on Crane Road off Highway 487 when they received reports of a domestic disturbance. One person was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
1:42 p.m. – Leake County Deputies responded to a call reporting a two-vehicle accident on Highway 35 North just past Redwater School. No one was injured in the collision and MS Highway Patrol was notified.
1:56 p.m. – Carthage Fire Department responded to a grass fire at a residence on Waggoner Road. Over a dozen acres caught fire and burned. MS Forestry Commission was called to the fire. Forestry brought bulldozers and dug around the area to contain the fire and keep it from spreading.
2:49 p.m. – Leake County Deputies came upon an accident on Highway 35 North near Waggoner Road when they were leaving the previous accident. No injuries were reported, and MS Highway Patrol was notified.
