Isaiah Reeves has been arrested in connection with the deaths of Johnny Ray Reeves II, 38, and Nicole Massey, 39.
The two victims were found deceased inside their home in Attala County on Sunday, August 30.
Isaiah Reeves is the 18-year-old nephew of the victim, Johnny Ray Reeves II.
Sheriff Curtis Pope says Reeves, accompanied by his attorney, voluntarily appeared at the Attala County Sheriff’s Office on Tuesday, August 31.
Reeves faces first-degree murder charges and is being held at the Leake County Correctional Facility. His bond has been set at $2 million.
The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation and the Attala County Sheriff’s Office continue to work the case.
