Isolated strong thunderstorms are possible in our region. According to the Weather Service in Jackson, isolated strong to severe thunderstorms will be possible Friday afternoon into early evening. Damaging winds of up to 60 miles per hour are possible. While coverage of storms is not expected to be great, some storms have potential to bring gusty winds. Any storms that develop will diminish through the evening.
