The Kosciusko Police Department executed a search warrant on Fairground St. early Thursday morning in a joint investigation with the Attorney General’s Office.
During the investigation, Bradley Powell, 20, was arrested and charged with 1 count of child exploitation and is currently being held at Leake County Correctional Facility with a $200,000 bond.
The Kosciusko Police Department offers its gratitude to the Internet Crimes Against Children division of the Attorney General’s Office and MBI Agent Robert Atkinson for their assistance, as well as the KPD’s Special Response Team for executing the search warrant.
KPD Chief Greg Collins says, “The department will continue to work diligently with any outside agencies to ensure the safety of the children in our community.”
Any further questions regarding this case should be redirected to the Attorney General’s Office.
