The Leake Academy Rebels varsity baseball team returned home to Madden tonight to host the Generals of Washington School from Greenville. The Generals opened the top of the 1st inning scoring 6 runs to take an early lead. Washington would add one run in the 2nd, 3rd, and 6th innings to increase their lead to 9-0. The Generals scored 3 runs in the top of the 7th inning to give them a 12-0 win in game one of the series with Washington. The Rebels will travel to Greenville Thursday for a doubleheader with the Generals at 3 and 6pm. Boswell Media Sports will not broadcast or video stream those games.
