The Leake Academy Rebels varsity baseball team was back in action tonight in Madden hosting the Park Place Academy Crusaders from Pearl in the final game of their series and won the game 10-0. The Rebels won the game in the top of the 5th inning when the game was called due to the 10 run rule. The Rebels season record now stands at 18-6 overall and 7-5 in the district. Matthew Nowell was named tonight’s Wendy’s player of the game. Our next broadcast and live stream of Leake Academy baseball on Boswell Media Sports and Cruisin 98 will be next Tuesday night at 6:00pm when the Rebels host East Rankin Academy.
