LA Rebels Win Game Two of 3A State Championship Series 14-12

The Leake Academy Rebels traveled to Liberty to play a must win game two with the Rebels of Amite School Center in the MAIS 3A State Championship series. Amite won game 1 of the series Tuesday in Madden 5-2. Amite School was enjoying a 4-2 lead going into the 5th inning when Leake Academy put 4 runs on the scoreboard to go ahead 6-4 and then added another run in the 7th inning to increase their lead to 3 runs. However, in the bottom of the 6th,  ASC put up a total of 8 runs to take a 12-7 lead over Leake Academy. Never count the Leake Rebels out with baseball remaining because in the top of the 7th inning LA answered, scoring 7 runs to take a 14-12 lead and then shut the door on Amite in the bottom of the 7th to tie the series and force the determining game 3 for the State Title tomorrow night in Madden.
